About the trip
Nagercoil is the main town of Kanyakumari district, green with paddy fields and coconut groves thanks to its nearness to Kerala. It takes its name from the Nagaraja temple, and it is close to Suchindram, Padmanabhapuram Palace and the southern tip of India. People from Madurai travel for family, work and hospitals, or as a base for Kanyakumari. The road runs straight down NH 44 via Tirunelveli.
