About the trip
Vagamon is a quiet hill station in Idukki district, known for grassy meadows, a pine forest, misty valleys and tea estates. It suits people who want calm walks and wide views rather than busy tourist spots, and it is also a popular paragliding site. From Madurai the route goes via Theni and Kumily, then through Peermade and Kuttikkanam on winding hill roads.
