About the trip
The Isha Yoga Centre sits at the foot of the Velliangiri hills west of Coimbatore and is known for the 112-foot Adiyogi bust, the Dhyanalinga meditation dome and the Linga Bhairavi shrine. Visitors come for quiet meditation, the Adiyogi evening show and Mahashivaratri. From Cochin the road runs via Thrissur and Palakkad, crossing into Tamil Nadu at Walayar.
