About the trip
Hogenakkal is where the Kaveri enters Tamil Nadu and breaks over rocky ledges into a series of falls and gorges. It is famous for round coracle boat rides close to the spray, riverside oil massages and fried fish cooked on the rocks. The drive from Bangalore goes via Hosur and Denkanikottai through dry hills and makes an easy weekend outing.
