About the trip
Kabini is a wildlife area on the Kabini river reservoir, part of the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve. In the dry months herds of elephants gather along the backwaters, and the forest is known for tigers and black panther sightings. Most visitors stay a night or two at a lodge for morning and evening safaris. The road goes via Mysore and H D Kote.
