About the trip
Wayanad is a hilly district in north Kerala with spice and tea estates, waterfalls, ancient caves and wildlife sanctuaries. Families and groups come for resort stays, easy treks and cooler weather. From Bangalore the road passes Mysore and Gundlupet, then crosses Bandipur and Muthanga forests, where elephants and deer are often seen from the road, before reaching Sultan Bathery and Kalpetta.
