About the trip
Cochin, or Kochi, is Kerala's port city and business centre, with a long trading past visible in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. Travellers leaving a Poovar beach stay often end here for the airport, or spend a couple of days among old churches, spice warehouses and cafes. The route runs the length of the southern coast through Trivandrum, Kollam and Alleppey.
