About the trip
Kovalam is Kerala's best-known beach town, with three crescent beaches, a red and white lighthouse and a promenade lined with cafes and Ayurveda centres. Guests at Poovar's quieter resorts often head over for an afternoon of swimming, shopping and a seafood dinner. It is only a short drive up the coast road through Vizhinjam.
