About the trip
Trivandrum, or Thiruvananthapuram, is Kerala's capital and the nearest airport and railhead for Poovar. Between flights or as a planned outing, visitors see the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the museums and art gallery in the Napier grounds, and the old palace at Kuthiramalika. The drive runs up the coast through Vizhinjam or inland via Neyyattinkara.
